No, unfortunately this is impossible. If a customer is unable to access the data stored on their SSD, so is OCZ. OCZ doesn't have the facilities necessary to recover data from faulty or dead SSD drives. Customers outside of Canada, United States, Taiwan, and EU Member States will be responsible for any duties or taxes due on RMA replacement shipments. What are the limitations to OCZ's warranty? Connection to a faulty power source Alteration, Modification, Disassembly or unauthorized repair Improper use of product Normal wear and tear User inflicted intentional or accidental damage Any other cause not resulting from defects in materials or workmanship This warranty is void if any manufacturer label or sticker has been removed or altered, or if any counterfeit labels are identified on the product. Any counterfeit products are excluded from warranty and will only be returned at the expense of the sender. OCZ Warranty is void for products within or destined to Cuba, Iran, Sudan, Syria or North Korea. OCZ cannot provide technical support or replacements for those products. What happens to my sensitive data in case of a RMA? In order to protect your privacy and any other interests in data, all customers should delete all data prior to returning any products to OCZ. In the event that customers are unable to delete any data on products prior to returning them, OCZ will take extra steps to protect the security of the data. OCZ performs best practice media sanitation as early as possible to purge any data that still resides on returned drives. In any case, data that is no longer accessible for the customer, cannot be accessed by OCZ either. What shipping speed does OCZ use? In most cases, OCZ ships via UPS (United Parcel Service) with 2 day delivery. In regions outside of the Americas, regional couriers such as DHL or DPD may be used with expedited service. RMA Warranty What is an RMA? RMA stands for Return Merchandise Authorization. An RMA allows you to return a potentially faulty product to OCZ for testing and/or replacement. What is the standard turn-around time for an RMA? Once we receive your returned product, please allow at least 1-3 business days excluding weekends and holidays before we start shipping your replacement. All returned products are verified and tested before replacement. RMA's received near the end of the month may be delayed and additional day due to inventory procedures. How can I tell if my product is still under warranty? Your OCZ brand product is warranted for a period of 3, 4, or 5 years from the original purchase date. You can view the warranty terms here . Once the OCZ support staff issues your RMA number, you are responsible for the following: Customer is responsible for shipping charges TO our facility only. OCZ will pay for RETURN shipping. RMA number must be clearly marked on the outside of the package. Please mark at least two sides of the packaging. Please use good discretion when packaging your return items so we can ensure damage was not incurred during shipping. Please place flash products in an anti-static bag with several inches of soft packing around the entire drive. RMA numbers are only valid for 30 days from date of issue. It is in this time frame that you must ship back your defective product to OCZ . For Advanced Warranty Program RMAs, you simply attach the provided return label to the packaging and then give the package to any available UPS facility. How long does the RMA number remain valid?
